Let’s Read Together | The No Book Club

Whatcha Reading?

It’s a book club unlike any other. The nicest part of The No Book Club is that you get to learn about many books in a one-hour meetup and make some new friends.

Hosted by Friends of the Edgewater Library, Edgewater Village Chicago, and the Edgewater Branch Library, The No Book Club invites attendees to talk about a current or past book that they’ve read. Chances are good that others in the group also read the same book, and so the discussions that occur are quite interesting.

It’s also a great way to learn a little about the people who come. Someone once said, “We are what we read!” And so, you’ll find armchair detectives, passionate crusaders, tech superheroes, incurable romantics, and so many more personalities that come through as each person shares their favorite “book du jour.”

Fun In The Afternoon: The No Book Club Virtual

The No Book Club meets at 1p.m. on the last Monday of each month except May, November, and December. All meetings via Zoom virtual video platform. Register here.

Take a break from a ho-hum Monday and hear what others are reading.
