Geralyn Hesslau Magrady, 2016 winner of the Soon to be Famous Illinois Author Project for Lines, discovered her main character while researching her own genealogy. The novel begins in 1871, before Chicago is unaware of the great tragedy ready to unfold. Come hear the story directly from the author.
